Unfortunately, I attended Girl Power Happy hour too and there was nothing happy about this happy hour except for being with good friends which could have enjoyed themselves at any establishment in town. First, there was very few people there, which is fine, except dealing with the service was not a pleasant experience. One would think that if no one was there, they would not be busy and would be able to promptly service the few customers that decided to not turn around and walk right out. Advertising was a key component in this establishment. They advertised everywhere, in the entrance way, in the bathroom stalls, on this website, on each of the tables, yet they did not know what was included in this so called girl power happy hour. The waitress said that happy hour was til 7 or 8. Well, if you are working in any profession and have customers and do not know the answer, wouldn't you take on the responsibility to find out the answer so you can effective do your job of serving the customer? Also, when I think of happy hour, I think of going after work and getting a drink and some food. In today's society, normal business hours are from 8-5 or so. So when I got to the bar at 5:45, I assumed the happy hour would be going on. This was not the case, it was to start at six, which is fine, I will wait 15 minutes to get the complimentary food buffet they promised through the numerous advertisement. This was not served til 7:00 or so and it was not too appealing. Now, I do not expect "free" anything to be top of the line, but do not build up all this hype for nothing. Put on the advertisement, "Free wings" for the ladies and that would be fine. Not free buffet. We have all seen our share of buffets and know that it means more than 1 item. Oh wait, there was a little plate of salad to share for everyone. Now I do not care about spending an outrageous price on drinks, having to buy food because I do not like the free chicken wings if I go to a place that does not advertise a happy hour. All I know is that this place should not even bother with a happy hour when they do not know how to have one. I guess I missed the free give-aways they so proudly advertised too. I must have been too busy being shocked at the outrageous happy hour bill I had to pay for. I will go elsewhere next time, find a bar that furnishes what they promise. Reality is, there was a lot of false advertisement going on at that establishment and it needs to be eliminated. Oh, and if they were having staffing problems, or a problem with the food or with the give-aways, a nice sorry from management would have been nice.

The service is absolutely horrible! Our waitress was completely rude! Four of us girls went for Girl Power Happy Hour and completely regret it! The "free appetizer buffet" was a salad with watered-down dressing and hot wings... the drink specials were just $1.00 off any drinks (which didn't save you very much) AND there were no prizes or anything for the ladies like they had advertised. The waitress didn't even know what the specials were... Happy hour was advertised to start at 5:30... but the "appetizer buffet" wasn't brought out till 7. We stayed till a little after 7 and (considering happy hour was supposedly over at 8) there weren't any prizes being won when we left. You wouldn't even of known it was happy hour because the waitress barely made conversation with the table. You would think with a table of girls she would of let us know what was going on. There were hardly any girls there and I don't blame them. That was the worst happy hour I've ever seen... actually... that's the worst LADIES NIGHT I've ever seen! I do not recommend going here for happy hour AT ALL!
